I was watching Netflix on my iPhone SE and it just suddenly went blank and won't turn back on

I turned on my Netflix on my iPhone SE and when I tried to turn the volume down (it was VERY loud, not what I usually have it at) the screen went dark and I can't get it to turn back on. The top of the screen now has:

support.apple.com/iphone/restore and shows a computer screen with a phone plug under it - like I should plug it into my laptop, only it won't do anything

Troubleshooting an iPhone with a Monitor On it:

Go Here: If the Restore Screen Appears on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. You need to restore the iPhone. If that is of no success, then you need to resin tall the iOS. As to why it happened, it's probably a bug in the install.
