The left side of my phone suddenly stopped working when I woke up. I cannot swipe from left to right, type the letter 'A', use caps lock and use emojis or numbers without using the right sided keyboard. I restarted my phone yet it did not resolve the issue. I don't know what to do and it's an annoyance to type with the tiny letters.

It turned out to be a problem caused by the screen protector I got installed in May this year.
A bit extraordinary as I have not encountered any problems until today, but I removed it a few minutes ago and everything is back to normal and perfect as if nothing happened!
I assume that my phone just had too many cracks prior the application of the screen protector and larger air bubbles have formed over time causing my phone to not defect any gestures on the left side.
