My child’s screen time will not update on my phone. It just keeps spinning as though it’s updating. We both have updated to the latest IOS. We have restarted both phones. We have turn off screen time and reset it. We have share across devices turned on. Nothing is fixing this problem. My child can see her own screen time on her phone.
Had the same problem, I was trying all kind of resets, nothing worked. Then I noticed a button saying ‘Devices’ on the right upper corner of the screen. When pushed it, it listed my child’s ID twice. When I changed the ID to the second one all the statistics showed up. Then I realised that she is also logged in on the ipad that she is not using and I was getting the statistics for the ipad not for the phone.
So, follow this steps:
Settings - Family - Choose child’s account - Screen time - See all app and websites activity - upper right corner push Devices and switch to the next device.
This indeed works. No prior settings are lost when you do this.

I am having precisely the same issue.
Not only is it not updating properly in my phone, but several of the settings I’ve applied from my phone are not being applied to his phone. Apple, you need to fix this.

Same problem - two kids have updated screen time me and the third will not. Everyone has logged into their Apple ID it just won’t refresh since September 4.

I’m facing same issue. Last update is on 30 of June 2024. Since then there is no activity reported even phone was used. It’s coming with 0 time for each day.

I had this same issue too since June 28th. Powering both off/on, turning off screen time all together, and clearing safari history & data on both didn’t fix it.
then I tried the “Turn Off App & Website Activity” option that is only seen on the parent’s phone. All the screen time history went away on both phones when I did that, but when I turned it back on the history was restored only on the parent’s phone and the problem was resolved.
Same as other users comments. It is working for one of the kids devices but not for the other. This appears to coincide with the most recent iOS update. If I go into my phone to view my son’s screen time it shows that the last updated data was days ago, and will not update for today’s data at all.
Same issue we have two teenagers with iPhones properly set up under family sharing, location sharing and I have been using this for quite some time and am very familiar with all of the standard steps. Tried all of the corrective steps mentioned in some of these posts and nothing seems to work.
Currently reached out to Apple support and I am waiting for a callback. It seems there’s a glitch with one of the latest updates and this needs to be fixed pronto!
Yea it’s just time to give Apple up this is crazy can’t even see how much time ur kids are spending on the phone. I’m done with Apple my wife already went back to a Samsung I think I’ll do the same this is ridiculous.
