Apple iPad Pro (2nd gen) with a folding Apple keyboard that magnetically attaches to the iPad.

Lately when using the Apple keyboard, I sometimes get an error message stating “ACCESSORY NOT SUPPORTED”. I tried using Deoxit contact cleaner, but that does not seem to make any difference.

Any thoughts?

See >>> If you see an ‘Accessory may not be supported’ alert - Apple Support

If you are using an Apple Smart (folio) keyboard, the alert is typical of a faulty folio keyboard. The electrical connections that pass though the flexible fabric hinges can fracture - this usually resulting in errors and/or the on-screen notification that you see.

The Smart folio keyboard itself is not repairable. Spraying your Keyboard with a contact cleaner will almost certainly have added to existing damage. Your only remedy is replacement of the keyboard - any potential warranty now having been lost after being exposed to a chemical cleaner.
