Apple watch - camera remote not working

Camera remote is not working on watch se 2. Tried unpairing and repairinig and reinstalled the camers remote as well. Still the same problem.

Updated the software for both watch and iphone

Apple Watch SE, watchOS 9

Apple Watch iPhone camera remote I am running watchOS 10.1.1 on my Apple Watch Series 9 and iOS 17.1.1 on my iPhone 15 pro but whenever I open the remote camera shutter app it shows a black screen and I can’t see the viewfinder from my iPhone. I am able to click the shutter just not able to see the viewfinder. This has been a problem since the first release of iOS 17

Camera remote stopped working on Apple Watch It used to work, at some point it disappeared completely from list of apps (although it was present in the appstore) . I did the watch reset , the ison or camera remote is back in the list now, but it is not reacting to pressing , nothing is happening if i click on it. Probably some bug after update

To function as a camera remote, your Apple Watch needs to be within normal Bluetooth range of your iPhone (about 33 feet or 10 meters). For more info, see:

Tried that as well. Still the same issue
