Curious issues surrounding Apple ID

so there are a few things strange about my Apple ID as of lately across my devices. My administrator password is required to make changes (or fingerprint) and I use security keys and 2fa on most of my important accounts. See below the 2 separate EtreCheckPro checks that show the issues I am unsure what to do about and then second is when logged out of my Apple ID which shows 'no issues' . My devices have been strange lately and App Store not loading, have random file types like browser extensions in recent files and other files changed or modified . permission changes etc and I run things pretty securely or at least am vigilant with using a firewall router with advanced support for Mac filtering, accesss control, screen time, browser history of devices, blocking connections from certain regions, and other custom rules) and so I just am not very familiar with Macs as much as I am windows when it comes to troubleshooting and analytics .


1) How is this possible or why?

2) How can I fix this. I have already recently done a clean install .

First, uninstall the Anti-virus One software/browser extension. There is no need to run any type of anti-virus app, cleaning/optimizer apps, or third party security software on a Mac. These types of apps usually causes more problems than they solve, plus they impact performance & system stability. This was noted in your other thread.


Second, you need to free up storage space since you should always have at least 20GB+ of Free storage space at all times for the normal operation of macOS. Even with 20GB of Free storage space available....that 20GBs can disappear very quickly depending on the workload. If you run out of Free storage space on an APFS volume, then it may be impossible to delete anything to make more room due to how the APFS file system works (you need to write to the APFS volume before you can delete or modify an item). With some workloads you may need to keep 50GB or even 100GB of Free space available at all times.


Not having sufficient Free storage space on the boot drive can easily cause performance issues and even odd behaviors.


FYI, The only reliable way of knowing how much Free storage space you have is by using Disk Utility to check the "Data" volume. The Free space is shown on the bar in Disk Utility. Anywhere you see "Available" in Disk Utility, in the Finder, or Get Info, ignore that value as it is very misleading....it does not mean that "Available" space is immediately open & free. "Available" consists of Free space & Purgeable space, where Purgeable means at some unknown point in the future that space will be released.


As far as the difference in the "Minor" issues reported (or not reported) in these reports just because of whether you were signed into your AppleID....most likely it is referencing some aspect of macOS where you are not using your AppleID. Apple really expects people to go all in and use their AppleID for everything, but sometimes people don't want their AppleID to be used for some service. Just a guess....I could be wrong on this.

Appreciate it . Will do . Managed to downgrade as well from dev beta Sonoma and things like App Store are loading again too and less incoming connection random requests or just changes despite the firewall lock. So seems to be helping ! Thank you! My last question and I hope it isn’t a simple answer because I am university educated on networking and info sec , more so Linux based and windows -but why do I have so many “Subscriptions” in my profile I have not viewed nor replied on or posted. Completely out of nowhere . Hopefully this isn’t anything to be concerned about? (Oh and got my OS on my MacBook to 50% empty so plenty of storage now👍) see below . I was new to the forums until very recently but showing things I never have ever or would ever look at under subscribed ….
