Every device's software is up to date, however, auto-switching is not working as expected. Airpods automatically switch from MacBook to iPhone, but they won't switch back. I've tried troubleshooting by resetting my Airpods, forgetting the device, etc., but nothing has helped. How would I resolve this issue?

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. Using the following from Switch your AirPods to another device - Apple Support, make sure that Automatically is enabled which should turn this feature back on.
