It was a retort at Germanylostthewar saying we'd make a good couple.
Well I thought it was funny. LOL.

Agree with the sentiment. It's all very well to tell people he's a developer and this is the data and the issue is now fixed, but to not corroberate that or offer evidence, and then to get p!ssy when people ask for clarification and throw his rattle out of the pram is a real bad show.

Maybe he's a developer. Maybe he knows a developer. Maybe he's a hobbyist with an over inflated ego and a jailbriken phone with a torrent download on it. Who knows. Certainly none of us. You have to take the info he brings to the party with just as much skepticism and any of the other info in any of the other posts.

Lets face it, if Steve Jobs popped in with a little King icon and posted that all was well and 4.1 will fix everything and it'll be on iTunes first week in September, I'd be asking for proof that he was Steve Jobs, and could he explain how he'd tested it because the last time he tested it he clearly didn't do it right, and by the way, where's the white iPhone? Anyone can paint plastic with Typex.

Your presence here has made posting on this forum practically unbearable. This is one of the reasons I don't post here. You and Himoura would make a nice couple. I have said what I have said regarding the proximity sensor issue and that's that. I am not an engineer, I am making assumptions based on what I do know. I find you guys and your attempts to discredit me rather amusing. If I have no credibility than please continue to mock one another and argue amongst yourselves.
And if I am simply taking pics that have been posted on the internet then please show me one example? What pics did I steal off the internet and use for my own evil agenda on this forum?

I resent that. Himoura's my wife. How dare you post disparaging comments about her. You're right. You're not an engineer. You are deducing things based on supposition just like everyone else. Either that ot you are confessing to breaching your confidentiality agreement with Apple as a beta tester. You don't have the succinct clarity of someone who writes for the press, so if you are in the media, I'd assume it's something flowery. Either way, you said it yourself. You're not an engineer and you're only posting what you've deduced from the information you've gathered. Welcome to the forum That's what we're all doing here.

@germanylostthewar its not that im trying to discredit you its just that we have no way of knowing if you are giving us accurate information or not. i should just believe everything you say without any skepticism? um ok. and btw i guess apple did kick you off the forum if you had to make up a new user ID...

@mbassoc2003 ... eh..

Poor Mr. germanylostthewar . He wanted to have an open discussion but Apple like to hide the problems. Now everybody can see what happened when you post your XCODES and your screenshots.

What is the new user name for germanylostthewar ? The man is great and really focused on the subject.

pdscott, I LOVE the idea of compiling which users have which problems, and what their phone configuration is.

iP4 (32) iOS4.0.2 UK Model

No PS issue.
No other known issues although have not tested BT pairing.

One exception....
Compass does not work, sticks all the time. Doesn't mater how much I do the figure eights. Don't really care about it right now. If it becomes something I need to use and it doesn't work then that's what the 1 year warranty is for. Fully expect this phone to be sold on eBay before it's 1 year warranty expires. Likely to buy in to the nezt model.

is that really the very best you can do emilylab? pretty cheesy riposte

Do not even waist your time on that man . He is here to trap people and he has nothing to contribute to this discussion. He has no education, no qualification and all he does is suspect others are lieing because he does not belie those others sometimes smarter and more objective than him.

Even I bring him 100 phones and put all of them in front of him he would say those were never tested and I probably stole them.

Can't believe he was stupid enough to make claims he was breaching Apple's Developer Licence and then posted personally identifiable info. Maybe he's still around. Who knows. But I wouldn't be lured into doing the same, especially with someone elses's access. Regardless of who baits you on here. Some posters don't understand the real world or work, trust and confidentiality.

I could of course post all the picks and XCODE ( Still irrelevant for testing )
but I knew I can not do it to people who allowed me to use their account.
Doing it with your own account even more crazy.
Apple does not like the information Leak.

I really wanted to buy his sorking phone with 4.1 Beta 3 for $3,000. May be he can sell it to me now .

I also don't have the PS issue (yet... only have had the phone for about four days), and no other issues. Would it be of any value for those of us who haven't had issues (yet) to share their phone's config? Maybe it would be helpful if the list is only for those who've had the phone for at least a week or two? I'm fine sharing, I just want to make sure that it doesn't complicate problem tracking.

Aug 24, 2010 11:24 AM in response to Adriannicus

The PS issue seems to be user initiated. It's an interaction thing between the user and the handset, and one that Apple did not anticipate. Those poeple who have the issue seem to have it will all the handsets they receive, and those who do not have the issue don't seem to find it in any handset. It's more about the way the user interacts with the phone that a case that some handsets are faulty and some are not.

Four days in is really too early to tell, but the majority of folks don't experience problems in the way they use their phones.

@mbassoc2003; You are wrong on so many levels. Too numerous to mention.

I'm not sure what you're referring to, but I kind of agree with mbasswoc2003 on this point. I do think how one uses the phone could have much to do with why some people have exasberating difficulty with PS, while other's don't. Maybe I should hand over my phone to someone who has the PS issue and see if they can get my phone to operate poorly. Neither of the two iP4 phones in my house seem to suffer. And to be honest, I haven't really run into anyone who seems to be having some of the extreme issues other's post about here. So, I'm not sure who I would have my phone over two......(and no ME, I won't lend you or sell you mine!)
