Starbucks app on Apple Watch (Series 8) not displaying current balance

The 6.61 release contains the fix to address this issue, and has now been available for all users for a couple of days. If you haven't updated already, please do so and you should see the watch app function as expected.

I’m having the exact same problem on my Apple Watch (series 8). It just happened right after the last update 2 days ago. I have also tried everything the internet says to do but nothing works. I have noticed that when u swipe up on the watch and u touch the icon that takes u to your cellular, cellular data etc. and scroll down to all your apps. I noticed every one shows the symbol in color and shows it on except the Starbucks. It shows the symbol in black and off but I turned it on and the symbol is still dark. I’m sure I didn’t explain this very well but it’s the best I can do.

I have been having this exact issue. I recently purchased an Apple Watch SE and thought my Starbucks app was not syncing to the watch. After contacting many Starbucks and Apple reps, I discovered that I needed to choose a default card to be able to see my balance when I go to pay. The Apple senior advisor I spoke with was very kind and helpful. She was also stumped about why you cannot see your stars or balance because that should be common sense… she said she would make notes on my case and see about troubleshooting.

I also put in a ticket with Starbucks tech. I could not determine if this was an Apple issue or Starbucks issue. Also everyone I talked to kept telling me this was not a feature I’m able to do on the watch which is obviously not true… very frustrating. Let me know if you find answers or if this is just a current bug!

Talked with the developer who handles the Starbucks app along with others. They did not update the Starbucks app. They think it was an oversight. Working on it and should be available soo., if at all! Starbucks has not yet approved it.

I have the same issue. It noticed it wasn’t displaying balance and stars about a week ago.

I would contact the app developer, as it appears to be something on their end.

Just wanted to say that the Apple watch is now displaying the correct stars and balance like it used to so thank you for fixing that. It’s nice to be able to see that again.

I just deleted my app and got a new one and it works fine
