Apple Watch + iPhone ‘notification location battle’

Ok, so I understand that notifications will be sent to one device OR the other, but not both, depending on the status (ie un/locked, wearing/not wearing).

My question is: can I force all notifications to always go to my iPhone regardless if I am wearing my watch or not?

I know I can turn all notifications off on the watch, but does that mean they will always go to my iPhone?

Hey alysynn,

If you prefer to only receive notifications on your iPhone, you can disable them on your Apple Watch. This will ensure the notification goes to your iPhone.

How to mute or turn off an app's notifications on your Apple Watch

1. Touch and hold the top of the watch face.

2. Wait for Notification Center to show, then swipe down.

3. Swipe left on the notification that you want to mute or turn off, then tap the More button .

4. Choose from the options that are available for that app. Depending on the app, you can mute notifications for the rest of the day, mute them for an hour, or turn them off completely.
