For example I have to enter first name, click done, enter last name , click done, enter mobile (number), click done and so on for each field.

If I click + New contact the whole page defaults to one of the no names after 10 seconds.

It all works fine on my iPhone though.

Try toggling off the sync option iCloud/iCloud Drive> Contacts

and compare your results locally.
