I am running the latest version of macos ventura. When i open email is there a way I can put this email in a specific folder without having to click on move and then select the folder I wish to place it in. An example would be I click on an email from Readers Digest, read it and rather then seeing move displayed I see the folder name Readers Digest. All help is appreciated....

There is no way to file the message based on the fact that you read it. You can set up a rule to move anything from readers digest to that folder when it is received, and you would have to view the messages in the readers digest folder.

Predicated on there being a folder called Readers Digest exiting in the Sidebar of Mail.
What happens when to Drag the e-mail from Inbox to Readers Digest folder ?
