iPhone 14 acting very strange

My wife’s new from AT&T store constantly not working properly. Logs out of iCloud. Changes passwords Stops working completely at times for hours. The geniuses can’t fix it. Apple support can’t fix it. Nobody knows what’s wrong. I’m suspecting it’s hacked or possessed.

about to throw it in the pond and start over completely. For the third time!!!

im losing my mind over this. Any help would be graciously appreciated

This appears to be an entirely different question from what was asked above.

Here is: How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple ID password - Apple Support

…you may have guessed my Apple ID at one point, but he also do send my phone because it was on his account the first time he hacked it, that was a apple ID that I never did recover. And all my passwords were changed. I got rid of the phone not my account so how did he do? This is the question I’m trying to figure out actually how you did it I just wanted to stop.

There are various ways to lose control of an Apple ID.

Getting phished is one possibility, as can be password re-use, though two-factor should reduce the exposure to those cases.

Somebody local that has access to the iPhone or to a trusted recovery number or trusted email can be another.

if neither AT&T nor Apple Support can fix it, I’m not sure what you expect here.

If you want to proceed here, please describe what’s happened with it already.

What has been done? What has been tried?

If you’re a political dissident, investigative journalist, with access to sensitive or classified financial info or such, or senior in major private or government agencies, or an annoyance to some very well funded group, there can be some nasty malware around. For the rest of us, pernicious malware is rather less likely.

I’d also try using the iPhone yourself. See if it’s somehow tied to one user.

AT&T and Apple not being able to find something wrong? Sure.

But that’s not all that helpful.

The symptoms here could be caused the device, or the software, or the person.

Again, what has been tried?

We have ruled out any hardware issue through diagnostics at the Apple Store

they erased all data and started the phone from new we now believe it is a corrupt file in her apple iCloud and since learning that she started an entirely new iCloud and Apple ID

unfortunate though because she lost years and years of memories were going to contact iCloud and see about recovery of some of her info

it’s been a mess for 2 months it’s pathetic that hackers will do this intentionally to innocent people

Password reset but it’s kinda hard to do that when you don’t have access to the phone number or the email because it asked me for those and neither one work that’s the whole problem. I just reset it myself. I can understand how to do that but it doesn’t work. And I understand that you shouldn’t do those things like it’s fine sharing your information back which I haven’t my point you may have guessed my Apple ID at one point, but he also do send my phone because it was on his account the first time he hacked it, that was a apple ID that I never did recover. And all my passwords were changed. I got rid of the phone not my account so how did he do? This is the question I’m trying to figure out actually how you did it I just wanted to stop.
