Apple CarPlay and SiriusXM

I have two cars with Sirius XM and two IPhones. Both have intermittent issues with CarPlay and Sirius XM.

• One will mute sound for about 30 seconds and even turn down the AC fan before restoring. It is almost like it has temporarily activated the voice-to-text feature.
• One will mute sound for much longer and does it more frequently. For instance, when listening to a Sirius channel, it will pause at some point nearly every song for about 1 minute. It feels like the same issue…just more intense. This problem goes away with SXM if the iPhone isn’t plugged in.

Thoughts?
