I can not add card to Apple wallet. My cards are compatible, region is correct, device is updated and compatible I have password, Face ID Touch ID still won’t let me add any of my cards.

I am unable to add any cards to Apple Pay! I checked everything

region is correct

have Face ID, password,etc.

my iOS is updated and it’s an iPhone 13 so my phone is compatible.

I did have my cards on there and I had deleted them I am trying to put them back on there.

I suspect that you will need to contact your issuer and explain - perhaps repeatedly and forcefully - your situation.


I hypothesize that “relics” of your previous card installation still reside in key databases within the payments processing network which need to be “purged” … something ONLY your issuer can initiate.


Same thing occurred to me - under identical circumstances - several years ago, albeit fortunately w/ only ONE credit card.

Are you in a country or region that support Apple Pay?

Does your financial institution support Apple Pay?


Apple Pay participating banks in Asia/Pacific, Africa, Europe Latin America, Middle East and United States - Apple Support



Confirm your region is set correctly.


Change the language and region on iPhone - Apple Support


Change your Apple ID country or region




If you’ve confirmed the above, please update your iPhone to the latest iOS, 16.5.1 or higher. Older iPhones may only support 15.7.5, but Apple Pay will function.


Update iOS on iPhone - Apple Support



Once updated, please do a forced restart of your iPhone.

Make sure your are signed into your Apple ID/iCloud account on your iPhone.

Sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac - Apple Support
