How do you turn off Mac during airplay
Im on macOS Monterey and my Macbook Pro won't turn off while I'm using airplay. Anyone have a fix for this?

Shut down (Turn off) and sleep are not the same thing.

My mind reading crystal ball is in the Wizard's shop for its 60,000 mind checkup, so I have to go by what you wrote.
If you turn the Mac off during AirPlay, AirPlay will cease to operate.
I break the connection by deselecting the device I was playing too followed by a normal shut down.
Hold the Power Button until the computer does turn OFF
That’s my mistake
