FCPX won't open my project anymore and I'm facing a deadline. Every time I try and open my project FCPX crashes and produces a report I cannot read. Can someone please help me? Thanks.

Are you running MalwareBytes continuously? Shut it off and reboot.
Where’s the media and library stored exactly?
Open the library. Select the library and export an XML. Make a new admin user. Reboot and log into the new user. Launch FCP and import the XML.
Tom, I opened the most recent back up file and it's too old and not current enough and most of the files are missing. I know how to relink files but accepting this old back up means editing 50% of the project all over again.
It's the project. The library opens but when I click on the project fcpx shuts down.
I deleted preferences but it still crashes when I try to open the project.
My other projects are opening up but not the main one I am working on. It opened and exported this morning. Then I performed 4 edits and the problem started out of nowhere.
My project is corrupted. I am trying to recover it but it's not working.

With all due respect, you asked me to post my EtreCheck report, which I did and you didn't say anything about it.
Sorry. Didn’t see any problems in the report other than the possible issue with MalwareBytes that I mentioned.

I found the most recent back up and am relinking the files but it's stuck now. What do I do?
Oh, it took but there are still many missing files so I have to relink them one by one manually. So far it's working. I'll keep you posted.
Crash reports are basically for the FCP engineering team. Very few people really understood what they mean. Sometimes you might get a hint of where something is going wrong, but that’s pretty rare.
Wow, what a travesty. I guess engineers are useless as I've always believed. LOL.
