This is the message I receive when I try to upload photos from my iPhone 14 Max IOS 16.6 to my Late 2013 MacBook Pro OS 10.14.6.
"These items cannot be added to your Photo library because the file format is not supported by Photos."
They worked before and now since I replaced the SSD and imported from Time Machine Back Up and done the iCloud thing. Not sure what to do now.

On your iPhone, check:
Settings > Photos > [Transfer to Mac or PC] Automatic = “on”.

That was already checked. So I went to using a usb cord and captured 58 out of over 1500 photos. Missing everything between 2017 and 2022.
This is just weird.
