App Clips…

iPhone SE iOS 16.6

Has anyone else encountered this phenomenon? “App Clips”

I have my suspicions, I hope I’m wrong. Perhaps someone can explain why these lil snippets of data occur in sttgs. That have recently accessed info from apps I have offloaded or have not used/have no use for that I thought were disabled?

Settings > General > About view claims I have 97 apps, the list of apps in Settings only shows 94 apps installed? I was sent a strange link via text and opened it. I was redirected to instagram… but not immediately so im worried it loaded malware. Its not clear which apps are being counted in the “about” my phone section. Im wondering if someone can clarify where 97 is coming from versus the 94 that I know I intentionally downloaded. Also wondering if I back up my phone can I re install the operating software and use the backup without reinstalling malware…that is if there is any, I know iPhones are fairly more secure than other devices. Reporting a glitch iOS 14 apps After updating to iOS 14 whenever I open an app while another app or website is open it says “pasted from...” whatever is the previous app or tab I have open. Seems bizarre. I’m not pasting anything to anywhere I’m just opening up a new app. This also appears to be a security problem because in two incidents it said “pasted from messages” and “pasted from notes” and I don’t want app developers getting my personal data! Anyone else noticing or have a workaround? Thanks!

I think my boyfriend has went in my phone and is tracking what I’m doing honestly but I have to figure this out it is bothering me BAD!! And making it where I can’t do things like give permission to share my location on Bluetooth!
