Philo App iPad Video Player Error
Issue: Receive “Video Player Error” Error processing request. [Error code: ds-1.2.26-9073a] when attempt to stream a movie.
Solution: iPad > Settings > Safari > Hide IP Address > Off
Many video streaming services are geo-restricted. If the service cannot verify that your public IP Address is not within the permitted range for your country/region, content may not play.
Apple's Hide IP Address feature, while designed to obscure your true IP Address, can be configured to use an IP Address that is within the same country/region - and as such, should allow geo-restricted content to play without issue.
However, as you have discovered, it may still be necessary to fully disable this privacy feature in some circumstances.
