Unable to Make calls from Mac

I am able to receive calls on my Mac (Apple M1 pro - Ventura 13.5) instead of my iPhone (iPhone -13 Pro - ios 16.6.1) - Carrier-based calls that can be picked up either on iPhone or Mac.

I am able to make and receive Facetime calls from my Mac.

But I don't see an option to initiate a call (Direct call using a Mobile network) using my Mac. Is there such an option? If yes, how to enable it?

P.S : I can make/receive calls using a mobile network on my iPhone and Make/receive Facetime calls from my iPhone. No problem while using the iPhone.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 13.5
