Continuous Errors Adding to Apple Wallet

I’ve been adding rail tickets and other items to my ApplePayWallet for several years, but over the last few days I keep getting an error message saying ‘cannot add pass to passbook’ or just ‘403 Forbidden’ at the top of the screen. My devices is an iPhone 12 MaxPro and my browser default is MS Edge.

Anyone any ideas on how to fix?

Hi Jeff

I’ve found a partial solution. I use Outlook and it was defaulted (in Outlook’s preferences) to open urls in MS Edge. It seems a recent iOS update has set using the ‘add to wallet’ button through Safari (not sure if a bug or deliberate). I can now add my rail passes but, bizarrely, not my Apple shop appointments (although I was able to add one from the website…🤷‍♂️)
