I bought a laptop macbook pro 16" 2021 but when I try to check the warranty on Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support it writes to me:
ENTER A VALID SERIAL NUMBER
I'm entering the serial number correctly.
Please help!

Copy and paste to be absolutely sure you are entering it correctly.
If you do that, and you still get no data, you need to take to Apple support. You can start that process by using the "Support" link this page lower left.
Was the Mac new when you got it? If it was, you had to go through the initial setup routine. If there was no setup, the Mac was used when you bought it and may be "registered" to the original owner.

the supplier took the laptop back under warranty, said most likely it was apple itself that did not activate this serial number, it really did not look like a fake 100%

And also I cant see this macbook in my support. I see iphone, imac, ipad, but not this macbook.
If it were me, I'd not buy from that place again.
