Apple thinks I'm in India

Trying to get Apple TV thru Roku and when I put all my info in Apple sends me to India for billing. I know that my email has been used by a Michael S. for iTunes and it's billed to India. I've never been to india.

I bought an Office 365 subscription and opened the emailed link (in Outlook which opened in Safari) to redeem it but Microsoft said I was trying to redeem it in a different country from the purchase. I used Chrome and it worked the first time. If I google "where am I" and click on the same link, Safari shows me as USA, Chrome correctly shows me as the UK. The USA address shows as King Street & 4th Street, King Street, San Francisco, CA 94017, United States of America. I have iCloud+ Private Relay on and set to country and timezone but I'm not sure if this is causing the issue.

Someone else's name and address is linked with my email/username I've been trying to set up the app for 2 days. I got the trial to work, but was thrown out after two episodes. I logged back in, but when I checked my settings there is a name and address (in Brazil!) linked to my username. I live in England. Also the default billing currency is rupees. The whole thing screams fraud. I can't subscribe as I can't change the fake name and country, and I am really reluctant to link any banking information to my account. Completely baffled as to how someone else is linked to my email username, and to why Indian rupees is my default currency - never been to India or bought anything in rupees. If anyone can shed some light that would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like your Apple ID may have been compromised. You'll want to follow the guide linked below to regain control of your account.
