You can try a force restart. You can do this by doing the following

1. Quickly press and release the Volume Up button
2. Quickly press and release the Volume Down button
3. Press and hold the Siri/Wake button until you see the Apple Logo on the screen
4. Once you see the Apple Logo, release the Siri/Wake button and allow your phone to continue booting back up

If you see a slider “Slide to turn off” just ignore this slider and continue to hold down the Siri/Wake button until you see the screen go dark and the Apple Logo appear on the screen.
