WatchOS 10 battery life
Someone else noticing substantially worse battery life on WatchOS 10? In my case about 50% worse imo.
Apple Watch SE, watchOS 10

Apple Watch SE, watchOS 10
My SE gen 1 was more than 50% worse when I updated to watch os10.
when I tried resetting and restoring from a backup there was no improvement.
eventually I restored and set up as new watch and it is acceptable now. I have 65% left at a point in the day where I would normally be close to zero.
I can literally watch the battery life go down as I’m watching it. Please, Apple, fix this asap!!!!!! I update my watch and all Apple devices immediately trusting things won’t go bad but 10.0.1 watch update is terrible for battery life!

Just to let you know, my brand new watch 5 (with new battery 100% capacity) started full at 8:30 in the morning, and is at 20:20 at 25% left.
This is much below what it should be...
Let's see if the next update fixes something.
A “brand new” series 5 must have been at the back of the store shelf for 4 years or maybe you were sold a pup.
Thank you for the idea with the noise app! It’s annoying me anyways when it alerts me bc I know the sirens are loud and I sometimes forget to turn it on water in the shower and then I also get an alert
Since I updated to 10.0.1 and now with 10.1 on my iWatch I have to charge at least 2x each day. Updating my iphone to 17.1 did not make any difference.
If apple does not correct this, I will sell this one....and...... no more apple watches!!

If its hardware then why battery drain after we all did the software update? Saying it hardware makes no logical sense in this case.
Makes sense to me, but then I've been around here for a longer time

Mobyface (whatever that is) gets a bad name in this regard
I'd never heard of it before people started mentioning it in these watchOS 10 battery threads. Given what it's doing, I'm uninclined to test it out.
I get tired of people blaming Mobyfox app. That’s a smokescreen designed to deny that Apple is the problem. I have had an Apple Watch 7 for 2 years, and used the Mobyfox app almost as long as I had it. I have been through more OS updates than I could count on two hands and never had this problem until now. NOT ONCE! So quit blaming it on the app. Unless you are a plant on this forum and on Apple’s payroll, I don’t think they need you doing damage control. The OS was poorly tested and rolled out to an unsuspecting public. Apple needs to do better vetting these before they roll them out. Period!
iOS battery is also worse than before but watchOS is on another level
I very much doubt that. Look at my link above
I bought the Ultra 2 last week, I think I'm going to take it back and reconnect my SE. What's the point of having an $800 watch if the battery drains this fast.
Same here. Before the update, my Series 7 will have around 70% at the end of the day. After the update, it will only have 20% left.
I told apple today that everyone is having this issue and hopefully they fix it
Mine goes to 42 percent by 1 in the afternoon

You misled them, I don’t have it.
