After latest update IOS 17, iphone 13 mini wont get anymore sound notifications. Calls are normal.

After iOS 17.2.1 the whole notifications cocktail involving the iPhone and Apple Watch is a complete disaster, utter shambles. I receive an SMS yet I get NO notification sound AT ALL on either the phone or the watch and no visible indication that I have received an SMS either, nothing, I literally have no idea I have received a message unless I open the app! Nothing on the watch and nothing / no badge on the phone. Yet I can open up Messages on the watch or the phone and can see them all sat there, unread. What's the point of having these insanely expensive devices if they can't even perform the most basic phone functions? This will be the last Apple purchase for me. Sure Android has its problems but Apple is total shambles at the moment! I get the feeling Apple is trying to be way more clever than it actually is, trying to link and mirror too many things and when the wheel comes off it comes off big time, and takes way to long to put back on!!!
My apple watch app only lets me turn "Mirror Your iPhone" on and off now. The custom settings has been removed.

@damianfromvancouver I don't own a watch but the issue is irrespective and is bothering many users
13 pro max, no Apple Watch.
None of my notifications are working either. Even after all the troubleshooting. So frustrating!
Try going to do not disturb and putting on personal. Try it. Than put back on what you want.
I wonder why no one from support is addressing the posts 🙄

Yep! I am so disappointed in Apple. The Apple reps act like they are clueless. They know! They have to know.

Still silence for me. 😩 Apple’s lack of a remedy is absurd.
You must have done something unknown to you that corrected it.
You might be one of the lucky ones. I still don’t hear my texts coming. I still will not select Lock Screen, Notification Center or banners. I don’t want that option. Apple needs to fix this.
A Lot of people have and it seems Apple representatives on the help line cannot figure out what is wrong and only escalate it to an engineer and still it hasn’t been fixed.
