Why does the top portion of my Wallpaper blur when setting my Home Screen wallpaper?

Whenever I set ANY photo for my home-screen wallpaper, the top portion (a good quarter chunk all the way across) Blurs out. It didn’t happen until I downloaded ios-17. Is there anyway to make it stop, or fix it?

Blurry Wallpaper top Ever since updating to IOS17, whenever I try to scale my wallpapers to fit the screen the top of the screen gets blurry and ruins the wallpaper. I truly believe this is a software issue and hope Apple can fix this or simply give us the option to have it blurred vs not.
