Is there a way to disable the default gray calling screen on iOS 17 for contacts that don't have a poster set, as it's impacting battery life and doesn't match my preferences in terms of appearance?
iPhone 14 Pro Max
Same situation here
2285 contacts with an ugly grey screen showing up on each call
Does not make sense to manually update for each contact
This is not a good idea
I’m having the same problem. Now the issue exists on my wife’s phone as well. All my contacts are affected. I have an iPhone SE and my wife has a XR.
Seems like Apple could provide a patch for that. Why not?
The gray background with white lettering is not pleasing to my eyes. And changing all my contacts one at a time is not really a viable option. Please change this and offer us an alternative.
Agreed.
Who thougth this was a good idea? How do we get it back to black?
I think they do care at all.
I don’t see an option to change the background on my new iPad Pro 11”. Why does the iPad have less features than an iPhone?
Please give us back the default black background in dark mode.
Don’t you mean that they “don’t” care at all?
But why contact name icons becomes faded also
