Memojis disappeared after iOS 17 upgrade

click on ---> + ---> stickers ---> little girl (emoj) DONE !!

hit the + next to messages

Select +, Stickers and click this icon for your Memojis.

Update to the latest version of iOS. If you update to iOS 17.0.1 or later this problem is fixed. My Memojis were not gone. Hope that helps.

You need to click on the "+" to the left of the text entry box.

Tap the + to the left of the box

Choose “Stickers”

Tap on the small icon of the people emoji (5th from the left)

Tap on your Memoji

if this “doesn’t work” all I can say is … bon chance!

It has worked for literally thousands of people.

To get “Memojis Back” or to “Access Memojis” go to messages and without writing a message push the emoji next to the spacebar you have to be on the (English Keyboard) now you see search emoji, frequently used, and all the emojis, etc.

(just making sure we’re on the same page) now, if you see all that and we’re on the same page, in frequently used, you should have the stickers icons it’s gray and black and no color(bottom, right-hand corner) push it, and now, you should see some stickers you made if you made any, and you see the stickers icon above those, in the same line of icon’s scroll until you see your Memojis👍🙂

I imagine it should work in any language keyboard, but not in the other ones has to be English or your language. I’m guessing at that, but English for sure. GOOD LUCK🤞

I couldn’t find my Memojis either. I have come back here several times over the past few days thinking that I missed a step, but I finally figured it out. The emojis/memojis are all in alphabetical order and since I have so many stickers, I didn’t find the memojis right away. However, all of my previous Memojis that I made are gone. In order to use Memojis now you use the camera to photograph your face while you’re moving and making different faces. It isn’t a snapshot as before, but a recording. So you have to start over with all new Memojis. You have control over the amount of time you record your photo, which is shown in clip art style as before. But now you choose your own expression. And you can save it. 

This is how I did it. 

-Open the texting app

-hit the plus + sign on the left of the conversation box

-go to the bottom of the list and hit “More” which will take you to larger pictures of the emojis. 

The emojis/memojis are in alphabetical order and Memojis are in the M’s. It will be obvious to those who don’t have a million stickers. The icon for memojis is still the same. Open Memojis and follow the will picture instructions on how to record yourself as a Memoji. Make sure to save it if you like what you have. Good luck.

Click on stickers in messages and start from there. You might find it. I finally did.

Look in stickers, if don’t see your Memoji tap the blank box and they should able there

Once I installed iOS 17.1.1, that fix also worked for me. I love having my Memojis back!

All the old iMessage mini-apps are back with today’s iOS 17.0.1 update. There must’ve been a coding problem or something in the iOS 17 update. They can also be arranged in the order you wish.
