iOS 17 voicemail issues

After updating both phones to iOS 17, my wife's voicemails are showing up on my phone and mine are showing up on hers. If I delete a voicemail on my phone, it deletes that voicemail on her phone as well. Same if she deletes one on her phone, it goes away on my phone. We share an Apple ID but this has never been an issue before. we've turned both phones off and back on but the problem persists.

Is there a solution or do we have to wait for an iOS17.1 update?
