Itunes 12.8.3.1 will not sync with iPhone on ios 16
I have a 2015 Macbook Pro on High Sierra. My iPhone 12 Pro is on ios 16.6.1. When I plug the phone in, iTunes states a software update is needed. When I click on “install” another window opens up and says it can’t due to a “network problem.” This seems to be a common problem and none of the solutions posted have worked. But before trying this, has anyone on this forum tried it? The caveat is that you will not be upgrading your OS. It appears like a problem with the MobileDeviceUpdater app. Have talked to Applecare and searched with no luck until now.
