I'm sure that I am not the only one. After the IOS 17 update was shocked to see that horrible gray call screen. Who in the technical department decided that was a good idea? and also moving all the buttons to the bottom of the screen. Certainly is vey ugly as far a I'm concerned. I know there's no fix for it here, just getting it of my chest.

As I said the call screen has always been black, incoming or outgoing calls. Now with IOS 17 the call screen is an ugly gray color, with all the buttons that used to be in the middle now moved to the bottom. I'm not even sure if apple now why? I put in a request to apple support and was booked for a midday callback, that was 3 days ago.

I agree completely! This grey screen is depressing and hopefully a fix is done soon!
Also it’s brighter which hurts my eyes (I’ve become accustomed to full time dark mode and a black background) and, depending how long your calls, might drain the battery quicker.
Chances of AI logging our comments here might be higher than anyone actually reading and respecting our intentionally submitted feedback
Apple doesn't log these posts at all. Providing feedback via the link is the ONLY sure way to let Apple know what you think.
That just means no one reads any of our feedback at all. They just decide on “improvements” and mine “data” but ignore the suggestions and requests the consumers willingly offer
Perhaps “log” was the wrong word—secretly listen/watch and mine for data as we type (on here or any other site) is what I meant
Gray call screen depressing
Apple should project joy, not unhappy colors.
If car color is any indication of people's taste in color, gray is extremely popular. I drive a gray car myself.
My car color is called Himalayan Gray, which is a darker metallic gray, which is really great looking. Complemented by red leather inside!
