Weather Complications not working watchOS 10 Update

I wish I had seen this but...

Over the weekend I decided to wipe the watch and reload 10.0.1 (I did not even restore a backup) the weather app still did not work, but after about 3 hours I got a message on the watch that it had updated my 911 emergency location and after I accepted the message, once I did that, I noticed that my weather complications started to work...

I will not talk here about my 5 hour conversation with apple support on Sunday (will post in another thread) but lets just say... there are a LOT of bugs I CONFIRMED in 10.0.1 and 17.0.1

I was able to restore weather by changing the face to a new one then changing back to the original face. Wifi on all the time.

I just updated to iPhone update 17.4. For now it appears to have fixed the weather complication problem.

The "Reset Location & Privacy" that Apple suggests works so far - almost 15 hours later at least.

I did something similar. Changed the default location through the Apple Watch itself to the town that I live in. Now everything displays. For now...

Update: resetting the Privacy and location sorted out the issue of the wrong temp. Seems everything is working as it should now.

Unpaired and set up watch as new. Seems to have worked 🤞

This solution worked for me. Switched back to WiFi after the update and weather seemed to reflect accurately.

Me too. I tried something new and so far its working. I went to weather app and changed setting to ‘custom’ vs mirror my iphone. So far, the problem hasn’t resurfaced in the last hour. Before this, the problem occurred within minutes. I would also just switch watch faces and then back and this also worked for a short while. Anyway, I hope a fix comes out shortly.

OK, I'm trying this option. Just removed the weather app... which also removed all my weather related widgets from my iPhone 15 Pro Max... and from my Apple Watch Ultra.

Re-installed, rebooted, re-added all my weather related widgets back to iPhone, re-added the weather watch face to Apple Watch.

So far, it seems to be holding but I'm going to be putting this on my nightstand charger in a few minutes. I'll report back tomorrow morning. I'm hopeful :-)

One thing that’s weird is the watch data is about 5 degrees Celsius off what’s on the phone. My watch says 26C but my phone and my actual feeling is at 31C. Deleting the app and reinstalling worked so far as far as showing the temp data in the watch, but it’s now wrong. Weird.

Mine it's stop working just after a few minutes. Tried all the tips and tricks. No result. The only app that is working without problems is Carrot Weather.

Reporting the same - the only workaround (and it needs constant baby sitting) is to switch to another watch face by long pressing, then switching back.

You sure you went to the weather section by the location services?
