Weather Complications not working watchOS 10 Update

Since upgrading to WatchOS 10, the weather complications do not work.

I have tried several different weather apps but none work.

Quick update (of my situation):

Summary - this may be to do with 12 vs. 24 hour clock settings.

Detail: All my Apple devices are set to Australia for the region, which defaults to 12hr clock. I change all devices to display/use 24hr clock. Watch was the same, and assumed it was set that way. Noticed just now that Weather widget in dock (scroll crown up function) was showing 12hr clock. Can't change this on the watch, but in the Watch app on the iPhone I went into 'Clock' settings and noticed 24hr clock was toggled off (no idea why). Turned 24hr back on and all the weather complications updated immediately and the widgets showed 24hr clock again. So that seems to have fixed it for me.

Scratch that. Issue has returned several hours after I made my previous post.

I have also noticed that in the settings for the Weather app in the Watch app on my iPhone, it is set to mirror my iPhone's config in the weather app. However, it's not doing that. I had to manually add my city in the watch weather app to get it to report on anything. And even then it only reports on it for a matter of some hours before disappearing again. I have tried changing the settings in the Watch app to various different options then setting it back to my preferred config, but it just seems like it is mostly ignoring any config changes I make.

Since updating to 10.2, the weather complications on my watch show a mix of 12- and 24 hour figures on the dials. I’ve tried all the method suggested so far.

I use the 24-hour system and the weather readings are right.

At 3pm, the outer dial reads 15. However, the next digit on the dial is 4 and not 16.

is there a fix for this. Changing the 1224 hour toggle has no effect.

I have tried three of these fixes. This is the last. Does not work. Weather is the most useful thing about my watch. I check it several times a day. I have had this watch for years and never have had this problem. My watch now says "Loading Weather on the face, without loading. It has been doing this for at least an hour. I have not had weather for two days. With 10.2.

What's even more frustrating than trying, like, a dozen fixes that don't work is the fact that my watch weather app occasionally works perfectly.

Yesterday I checked it and all the data was there and working normally. I hadn't changed anything about my watch in days. Then a couple hours later the Weather app failed like usual, again with no changes to my watch. Arg!

I am having sort of the same problem. When I am on ANY wi-fi, my weather will not update and the watch cannot determine if I have the most recent operating system update. (The wheel just keeps turning). If I turn off the wi-fi on my iPhone, or physically leave wi-fi coverage, my watch updates. Once again on wi-fi the problem returns. If I look at my wi-fi settings on my watch, it identifies the correct network.

I'm sad to say that here on March 22 none of the suggestions in the 12 pages of replies have worked for me. The complication on the Watch face just says "Loading weather."

Tried & failed: turning off WiFi, restarting the phone, restarting the Watch, location = always on, none of it.

This just started overnight.

I did get to where the Watch detail screens show me the circles, but the Complication is just "--"

Where is the official response from Apple? I am contacting their support and they are not even aware of this issue. How can support not be aware of an issue reported by 1000+ people?

Edit: I just submitted a report to the Better Business Bureau, and you should do the same. It only takes 30 seconds.

Apple doesn't read here in this user-to-user forum for feedback or suggestions. Their participation here is largely limited to make sure people abide by the rules and managing the forum software.

If you want Apple to know what's happening you can call Support who logs all of the issues. Or, you can use the feedback page:

Or both.
