iPhone 15 Pro Max Wi-Fi Issues

I Hope apple or others can help me out - I’m having issues with WiFi on the IPhone 15 Pro Max

myself and others are having issues with using WiFi and 160hz - many have raised issues on Reddit posts - some cannot connect to there WiFi at all and others can connect like myself but have random issues with no internet from time to time

Mines working on 5GHz 160hz, but sometimes I’ll just have no internet connection (it’s still connected to the WiFi) - I have to disconnect from the WiFi and connect again for it to work.

I’m using ASUS RT-AX82U - 5GHz allowed Upto 160hz - I’m running 1gig internet so last thing I want to do is try running at 80hz as I’ll loose speed

When it does work it works great 😊

I've got a fix!!! This was frustrating me to no end. Went to Apple store and talked with one of the experienced techs. He said the issue is the iPhone when you import from an old iPhone imports non-ideal network settings, not just your old iPhone passwords. Fix is below.

Network -> General -> Transfer or Reset iPhone -> Reset Network Settings

Wifi has been working like a charm since I did this. Read about this for hours and never saw this suggested anywhere else so figured I'd contribute.

I have been having the same issue mostly at home with Xfinity. I am using the white XFi Gateway device. Model XB8 manufactured by Technicolor. No one else seems to be having the problem at home.

Not sure if it’s helps anyone, I resolved my slow speed issue by turning the WiFi 6e mode setting from auto to off.

Went from 20mb to 600mb.

OK, so I have a VPN (Surfshark) on my phone. I deleted the app and it's now working.

There's nothing to fix; check to make sure there isn't a firmware update available for your Wi-Fi router.

Same, my iPhone randomly has issues when I’m using my Apple remote, or even on a random website watching YouTube sometimes just stops working and buffers forever.

It's usually not the phone, it's your Wi-Fi router. The iPhone 15 models support a newer Wi-Fi standard some routers don't implement properly and they require firmware updates.

Thanks, you're comment helps me a lot. I got issues with my wifi after i use a vpn. After i restart my vpn and reset my iphone settings for the vpn everything went back to normal.

I didn’t do an import or transfer from another iPhone. I did a master reset twice, once when 17.1 was released, then again after 17.2. Same issues.
