iPhone speaker not working after iOS 17.1.1 Update
When talking on the phone, no one can hear me when I use speaker phone after upgrading to IOS 17.0.1 Is anyone else having this issue?

I discovered that the volume control for speaker phone mode is independent of the regular iOS volume. This seems to be part of the 17.x update.
Make a call, set to speaker, and then adjust the volume up and it will all work fine.
This was driving me nuts as speakers worked all other apps except in the phone app.

Same. Online chat, phone call and no one could resolve. I did change my case so the microphone isn’t covered and it resolved for me. Although it cost me $50 for an Apple clear case. 😡
Able to fix it with a reset of my phone’s settings
I have the same issue. I need to disable Bluetooth and power cycle my iPhone to use speaker phone. Such a big hassle and embarrassing when on important calls. Hope this gets resolved soon!!
Turn off mic isolation in settings also update to current release. This fixed t for me.

Need to Reset All Settings.
happen twice and it’s a pain to rebuilt all the settings, WiFi passwords, personal settings, etc.
Apple needs to fix this ASAP.
I went to Apple Store and now they are aware of the problem and will fix it free.

Just updated iPhone 14 to ios17.1 and speakerphone is now working fine after two tests. Hope it lasts. The previous update from 16.? to 17.03 cause it to stop working.
I don't think it is a hardware issue.
The mic only works when I use other apps e.g. whatup. I even tested the mic by recording a voice memo and it is crystal clear. It is only when I try to call using the iPhone app (network) and no one can hear me.
I'm having this same issue. For me it's not just the speakerphone. No one can hear me using the headset, speakerphone, or even bluetooth connection. The only way anyone can hear me is if I make a continuity call from my phone on my mac. I even had my phone replaced recently thinking that would solve the problem, but it didn't. Definitely a software issue.
My question brought me to this forum for my live voicemail speaker not working out loud. So I figured out if I turned off “announce notifications” it started playing voicemails again over loud speaker.
Accessibility-Speaker-Announce notification’s, then toggle off.
Maybe you guys could try this for your particular issue
i have the same issue. I have to keep resetting my network settings to get it to work again. But it only last a day or two before I have to do it afain. Very frustrating.

Did you tried to Reset All Settings just for test?
The current update to 17.1 from 17.03 fixed the problem of speakerphone cutting out/not working for me on my iPhone 14. Thank goodness.
