Why is my iPhone 15 Pro screen unresponsive sometimes?

I’m so glad I found this Community post. Currently sitting at a Genius Bar with their silly little tests. The guy completed a continuity test on my screen and there were multiple times he had to go back and click the screen to cover random spots but tried to tell me it’s the new OLED screen technology and that my old iPhone 7/8 had 3D Touch. I’m coming from an XS max so this guy was an absolute clown.

im so disappointed in Apple. Over 1500 people in this post suffering with the same issue and they are unwillingly to listen to their customers .

I’m also having this problem when I try to touch the microphone on the bottom of the keyboard for voice texting. It seems that the far corners sometimes don’t respond to touch

Same. Corners of the screen not responding.

Mine too, brand new 15, top left of screen unresponsive.

Not sure what to do, take to Apple Store or wait for software update 🤷🏼‍♀️

I thought it was my hands too dry but actually is an issue. I don’t even have a screen protector on but the screen often not responding in corner taps. What should we do to get a replacement.

I showed them my phone and opened apps to prove it wasn’t working.. They tested the device and it came back good but it wasn’t so I demanded a new one and it was mailed to me 2 days later

I keep blaming my fingertips. Thought there was something wrong with them. But its the screen that is not responsive at times. :(

Hi…. If less than 14days able to get replacement but more than that they’ll only reset the phone using iTunes.

My 15 pro has had this problem in the upper left corner you can press on the arrow to go back and it would take over 10 tries…. I get so aggravated with it! Wish there was some fix!

I have the same issue, 17.3 didn’t fix it. Light tapping the keyboard misses a lot. And while on a call or when playing audio messages, typing becomes a nightmare.

I see it a lot with X (twitter). I keep tapping in the upper corners and nothing happens. Drives me crazy. I thought it was the app.

The top left corner of my 15 pro is unresponsive intermittently. The area directly under the clock/time specifically. Where the ‘back’ button is placed when inside of a submenu of the settings.

I too have the same issue , it literally take me 3 hour to setup the phone because a few time it froze completely so I had to power cycle ,so frustrating to the point I stop using my 15 pro now I’m back to my 14 pro , the screen is jus not responding or I’ll have to touch like 5 or six time before it it’s terrible

I’m experiencing keyboard sound glitches, when i type it randomly clicks twice when i press just one button! It doesn’t register two characters just clicks twice 🤔 just got off the phone with Apple Support who have advised me to visit a store for further in-depth diagnostics!! They’re thinking that it’s quite possibly hardware/screen related even though the remote diagnostics showed no issues!! Is anyone else experiencing the double click issue ? Could be related to the issues reported in this thread!!
