I noticed my phone gets hot. But then what's even worse I noticed is that the battery drains so much. I upgraded because my iPhone 11 battery only lasts for a day but then getting this phone didn't make difference: i dont know what to do. Can we get a replacement or everyone has the same issue? I turned always on display off but it's still draining fast

iPhone 15 Pro. Restarted automatically on me 3 times over the last 3 days. Tonight I was in the phone for about an hour. Half way through the call I had to switch to speaker because I couldn’t hold the phone to my ear. The battery drained to 15% from 80% over the time of the call. Something is really wrong. Calling Apple tomorrow and might return the device. My 14 Pro never did this……

Hello everyone,

I did a full diagnosis with an Apple advisor and my iPhone is OK.

You can do the same thing and you will see that you will get the same result.

You can exchange your iPhone and you will see that the new one has the same heating and battery problems.

Only one thing to do: wait while the devs publish an update!

totally agree with you, the battery can't even compare with my 14 promax. omg, 2 hours my phone from 100 to 85. and i just using from some music only.

i was wondering my phone has some issue, a bit ridiculous, bought a new phone bring the power bank everywhere.

my 14 pro max battery is far away better than 15 promax.

hope Apple can take this seriously.

Also if you let the phone die completely after first use instead of charging it before it even dies the next charge isn’t warm I can attest to this because I did that and my phone was warm before that but it wasn’t so hot where it burns your hands or hurts but it’s not doing it anymore to me you’re not even really suppose to use your phone while it’s charging tbh also the MagSafe pad makes a difference also the 20W brick and different wires cause problems too use the original apple one my battery lasted me all day I got my 15 pro max on 9/26 yesterday turned it on at 12pm it was on 50% I believe lasted me until about 10pm and finally died and that’s watching TikTok videos and uploading TikTok videos all day that warmth didn’t last all day either just keep an eye out guys if the battery is bad and warm show apple charge it in front of them if you got apple care they have to replace the phone regardless whether they want too or not or if it’s within 14 days you can just go to the store and get a brand new one too still

Hello everyone,

I've currently been on a call for almost an hour, the battery isn't moving and the iPhone 15 Pro is cold.

It is true that I deactivated the "Always on screen" option but perhaps the calibration of the iPhone is now complete...

Wait friends... This is a new day! :-)

I have already visited them. They are not accepting their fault. They just saying repeatedly that it’s only because of third parties app on store.

I didn't tell you to visit Apple. I suggested (to someone else) that they submit feedback to Apple telling them about the problems they are having. The more data Apple has, the more likely they will be able to figure out what sort of problem this is.

I've factory reset my 15 Pro Max and fresh installed all apps manually rather than restore from icloud backup. I heard that there can be problems with icloud backup migrations to a new phone where software gets corrupted. This manual install process was slow and miserable. But, it seems to have fixed my battery drain issues. Phone drained 4% overnight rather than 20%. And lasts a full day now. Battery still doesn’t last as long as my 13 Pro Max did, but it’s better at least.

For those that dont want to wait for if/when Apple fix this, maybe give this a try. Especially as the 14 day returns window is coming up.

Make a new full phone icloud backup to be safe.

Make individual app backups where possible, like Whatsapp, apps with APIs/keys/config files

Factory reset iPhone 15x

Don't restore from backup, but sign into Apple ID when prompted

Manually install all apps from AppStore

Hope for the best

3 of my friends tried it all failed, this can only be fixed with the upcoming software update due to the bug as stated by Apple if not the best solution is to go back to an older device and to be honest it’s the second time in a row to face issues with a preorder device. Next time I’ll play it safe and wait see all the problems get solved then make a purchase the excitement is not worth the stress after receiving a buggy device!

I have a 15 promax and have had very poor battery life since I received it a week and a half ago. I got suggestions from Apple on how to save battery life but I’ve never had to do anything differently with any of the other models so I’m not accepting that that’s what I have to do now. This battery life should be better than the 13 that I gave up to get this new model, and that is not the case. I don’t want to have to do anything different than I’ve been doing all these years of having an apple phone.

This just sounds like a lot to have to do for a $1400 phone. I just gave up a i 13 Pro Max did not have to do any of that when I got it and it still had beautiful life and battery until I gave it up for this phone. Something wrong about that. Apple needs to fix this problem. It’s obvious it’s not just unique to a few of us.
