You could try all the same things I tried described in this thread.

Go the scientific, methodical, route - measure everything. Duration, from how many % to how many % battery in that time, take screenshots. Every time you change something, give it a few hours until you're confident it changes either something or nothing. Then switch it back and try the next thing. Yes, this will take days, if not weeks, but keep a record of everything you do and the result. As you can see I built quite a record and detailed descriptions of what was going on, including screenshots of the battery drain at some points (I have lots more but didn't want to spam too much here). In the end I could with absolute (or at least 99.99%) certainty show that the problem was in the phone, not any of my apps, my usage pattern, my charge pattern etc. etc. When the evidence is irrefutable then Apple has no option to swap it. Otherwise they can* keep sending you back into the weeds with "have you tried ...".

You may not have to go this far. Maybe all it takes is a simple call to Apple Customer Support and mention your phone drains like crazy and they'll replace it. I may be the weird one, but I like to come prepared to the battlefield 😝 If you're close to an Apple Store maybe you could pay them a visit (closest to me is a 2hrs drive away) and have them take a look at it (I doubt they'll replace it on the spot, but you never know). If you have AppleCare+ then Apple may be even more willing to replace it quickly or without too much asking. However, you do have a right to a decent working product which you paid (dearly) for. So if the phone doesn't do what it's supposed to do or doesn't function as it's supposed to function or doesn't last as long as it's supposed to last then - in most, if not any, part(s) of the world - you're entitled to (most) of your money back or a replacement. It depends on where you live (I'm in Europe) so your mileage may vary. But I'm sure Apple will be happy to replace it if it's actually a lemon (production error).

Having said that: how long does yours last and could you post a screenshot like I posted which clearly shows a) the green battery usage graph and b) the blue activity graph? If you have any means to measure temperature reliably, like I did, then measure the temperature after your phone being "idle" for, say, an hour (with no apps open or anything) and also, or especially, at times when it's hot. Note down what you were doing what (may have) caused the heating in your opinion. Again: measure, build a record. The first thing you're gonna have to do is define what you mean with "battery is draining hard"; what is 'draining hard' in your book may be 'normal' in someone else's book. Numbers. Durations. Graphs. Cold hard data.

Iphone 15 pro i got the phone before 5 days, since then the phone is getting heating to much and battery is getting drain to fast. after few calls from 100% it goes to 70% in just 30 minutes. There is also a problem which i see in battery oposion which says Home & lock screen which is taking a battery drain. I request apple to fix this software or else i have return the phone in next week. It is sad to see this kind of product after spending a lot of money.

Although the phone is amazing and I am satisfied, I have also noticed the 600 people on here. My battery is not great at all I wish I could go back to my iPhone 13 pro Max which would last a full day! Like other people have said I will regret buying the iPhone 15 pro. I hope they can fix this. Otherwise, I have just wasted a good phone and money. FYI iPhone is draining from 100% - 20% within 2hrs on Amazon and YouTube.

Same issue with me…with in 3 hours it drops from 100% to 30%. I was on call in that 3 hours and screen usage was like 30 mins. It Sucks me.

Apple Care said i have diagnostic your device online. And nothing is wrong with your device they told me that i should turnoff wifi and mobile data.

I don’t understand if have to turn off my internet then why would i buy $2200 phone. Then i should go for cheaper phone instead.

Any help from Apple will be appreciable.

iPhone 15 Pro. Restarted automatically on me 3 times over the last 3 days. Tonight I was in the phone for about an hour. Half way through the call I had to switch to speaker because I couldn’t hold the phone to my ear. The battery drained to 15% from 80% over the time of the call. Something is really wrong. Calling Apple tomorrow and might return the device. My 14 Pro never did this……

totally agree with you, the battery can't even compare with my 14 promax. omg, 2 hours my phone from 100 to 85. and i just using from some music only.

i was wondering my phone has some issue, a bit ridiculous, bought a new phone bring the power bank everywhere.

my 14 pro max battery is far away better than 15 promax.

hope Apple can take this seriously.

Hello everyone,

I've currently been on a call for almost an hour, the battery isn't moving and the iPhone 15 Pro is cold.

It is true that I deactivated the "Always on screen" option but perhaps the calibration of the iPhone is now complete...

Wait friends... This is a new day! :-)

I have a 15 promax and have had very poor battery life since I received it a week and a half ago. I got suggestions from Apple on how to save battery life but I’ve never had to do anything differently with any of the other models so I’m not accepting that that’s what I have to do now. This battery life should be better than the 13 that I gave up to get this new model, and that is not the case. I don’t want to have to do anything different than I’ve been doing all these years of having an apple phone.
