"gmizgqnpkksp" is damaged and can't be opened.

I have a M2 Macbook Air, I originally set it up by cloning from a 2015 Macbook pro.

It has been fine for a few months so far, then today I tried to install Steam, where it asked me to install Rosetta which is needed to run intel-based app on Apple chips, which I accepted.

But then I got two windows that popped up saying certain file is damaged and can't be opened. First one I clicked "Show in Finder" and was able to delete the file (I believe the file was cloned from the other laptop as its creation date was years ago). Second one's file name was "gmizgqnpkksp" and clicking "Show in Finder" just brings up whatever the last Finder window was, searching for the file also doesn't yield anything.

I've tried restarting my Macbook, restarting in safe mode, restoring to a previous version via Time Machine, none of these stopped the pop up.

The only other post I can find with similar symptoms is File damaged and can't be opened Catalina - Apple Communit, but I'm suspicious of downloading an unfamiliar software.
