iPhone 15 Pro Battery Drain Issue

I have bought iPhone 15 pro recently. The expectation is battery should be efficient, but is performing poor than iPhone 11. Especially Findmy app is used all night. The battery went down from 55% to 32%. Please help me to fix this?

same here I thought it was defective, battery health is 100% but it drains so much faster than my iphone 13 pro max, iphone 10 max .. horrible! I don't think this can be fixed.. looks like a hardware issue with this phone. I regret getting it.. My iphone 13 pro max was much better though I just hated it's weight and the darker screen

So I had the iPhone 15 Pro now for 24h and have been affected by quite abnormal Battery drainage.

This is what I have so far....

  1. Update IOS to the newest Version
  2. In case you don't have a 5G Plan and your Phone is running 4G, set it in the Mobile Network options to 4G or Update your Plan to 5G

I have the impression that when you are on 4G but the Setting is on 5G the Phone is constantly trying to Switch to 5G, leading to abnormal consumption.

Since I did this, I am now on 100% since 4 hours which is definitely different than before.

Hope that helps....

yeah, I’m totally frustrated with the battery life of the iPhone 15 Pro too! I had the iPhone 11 for three years and I never had battery life issues like this, I am constantly having a phone on the charger and everything. the phone also seems buggy and the lock screen feature doesn’t probably work, the UI functions weird at times, and multitude of other issues. I am very disappointed in this product and wish I probably kept my iPhone 11.

I was able to get better battery life by going to Settings > Display & Brightness > Always on Display (toggle off) I went from an IPhone 13 Pro Max to IPhone 15 Pro. Set the new phone up from my most recent backup… all my settings changed over properly but I did notice my phone wasn’t “going to sleep” right away when locked. This must’ve been draining my battery. Hope it helps!

I had an appointment today with Genius bar. They reset my iPhone 15 pro from their Macbook as a completely new phone not from a previous phone backup. Also took off the new feature of screen always on myself and was suggested to turn off app backup refresh for Facebook and social media as they take a lot of battery. If not working next is changing the phone under warranty or change the battery. No replacement available, all out pf stock... nobody knows till when. If bought on finance they cannot even change as I was told, what I don't understand. I will find out how to write an official complaint to Apple about the whole process, the fact that no replacement available and that they ruined everything that made this brand special. I am curious how my battery will last now with the changes.

I have to agree with the general consensus on the iPhone 15 Pro - the claim was that the battery capacity is EVEN better than that of iPhone 13 Pro - not so fast on that claim, please!

The battery is suppose to withstand normal use of a 24 h day and is NOT. If the recommendation is to shut most/all the features that makes its purchase worthwhile, then mind as well stick with the basic flip phone, right? It's like buying a Ferrari and driving it at a scooter's pace.
