iPhone 15 Pro Battery Drain Issue

Battery usage last night, while in Sleep Focus Mode active and:

• Location services OFF
• Background app refresh OFF
• BT off
• FindMy OFF
• All apps closed
• Phone rebooted.

I also disabled the WiFi but in the morning it was ON again, by itself. :/

But anyway, I see FindMy again on the list even though it was turned of and in the morning I checked it was off.

I have transferred all apps/data/settings from my 15Pro (battery usage in previous posts) and I have made sure I have enabled:

• FindMy
• Location Services
• Cellular and WiFi
• Background app refresh

Only Siri was not on.

Also, did not close any apps before going to sleep. This phone used 0% battery overnight, even though during 1AM-6AM, "FindMy" is the only active app listed with 100%. But it's 100% of nothing.

I’m completely disappointed with the 15pro overall. It’s slow, battery does not last and sometimes jumps from 20 to 10 percent battery life. Always had iPhone. Might change to Samsung because this is aweful for the price. Even the pictures don’t come out that great. My wife’s 14 pro seems to take better pictures

Same here, i upgraded to 15 pro after 14 pro, and i regret it so much, bought it from Dubai and I live in Egypt, so I can’t even return it or trade in, i wanted a new healthy battery just to discover i got a worse battery. Really annoyed from apple’s quality, this was unexpected

I was told while making a claim, that the phone had to be factory reset then it would charge.

I haven't done it yet because this iPhone barely hit the ground at low speed and it cracked like a wine glass it's weak.

I have a new Samsung it fell out of my pocket and landed on the cement nothing happened to it. It reminds me of a 1976 Grand Prix I had it was a tank I hit a car in the side the car was toast, and all the 76 had was a broken left turn signal lens.

Sorry I’m having trouble understanding. So you say that you have no issues with your battery? I updated iOS 17.1.1 couple weeks ago and having battery issues since then. There is no hardware or software issues after multiple diagnostic tests. Do you suggest me to wait a bit longer for the battery to adapt?

I bought my iPhone 15 pro last week and also feel very let down by the battery which was the only reason I upgraded! I wanted to be sure that my battery would last. My iPhone is still under warranty and I’m tempted to go back to an earlier model????

@fxg44: now I've read better your post, so no OS update, the problem just disappeared for you. Same thing happened to me back on 7th of October, but the problem reappeared on the 24th of October, so the good times only lasted about 2 weeks for me. Disappeared for no reason, reappeared for no reason... I have the screenshot only from when it reappeared (on the right side, it should be obvious):

I got my new 15pro 4 weeks ago and, until yesterday, it worked perfectly. Very suddenly it started losing battery power at 50% an hour and that’s without even using it!! I closed all apps, deleted any recently downloaded apps and switched it to battery saver mode. I’m running the latest version (17.1.1) It was fine for a few hours and then it happened again. I’m leaving on a trip tomorrow and I need a working phone! Does Apple have a fix for this??

i’ve had the iphone 15 pro for 3 weeks now and at first my battery life was AMAZING. like i would only lose 45% in a matter of two days despite heavy usage. but now my battery is starting to drain fairly quicker: for instance, my phone when i first got it wouldn’t lose a single percentage when i wasn’t on it, but now even when i’m not on it, it’s losing over 10%.

same here. my battery life was amazing at first, it would take 2 days before my phone would die when i first got the 15 pro, but all of the sudden that drastically changed & my 13 had 87% battery life and lasted me longer.

There isn’t any fix except waiting if apple fix if in the next update.. I’ve been facing the same issue from last one month and nothing worked. I gave up my hope. Maybe if we all can start tagging apple on twitter they will notice the issue and fix this otherwise it’s not gonna fix. 😢

So I can already tell you that in the next update, which is 17.2 the battery drain is still an issue

My mom recently bought the 15 pro max, her phone is doing the exact same thing. Battery health is at 100%. She will leave the house in the morning around 7am, her phone is dead by 12pm!?! The real question is when is Apple going to fix this??? She has been chatting with Apple support for weeks, they keep telling here there is nothing wrong because her battery health is at 100%.. but if there is nothing wrong why does her phone battery only last 5 hours??

I have the same issue. I have changed the phone twice from the shop. Two of the same phones 4 hours tops, then its 10% from 100%. My friend's phones (the same but titan neutral color. both I had were titan blue)
