iPhone 15 CarPlay Not Working

doesnt work in wifes Evoque unless i keep unplugging it and plugging it back in until it offers carplay and in my T6 transporter it works but audio crackles really really badly, wishing i stayed with Android

Same with 2019 Cadillac XT4. Won't even charge consistently. I bought the cables/adapters etc and while it will work intermittently, it's inconsistent. Bought the lightning to USB-C dongle and returned immediately after a failed test. Apple should be better than that - it's basic stuff. Disappointing for sure, but at least acknowledge the problem and work on a fix.

Have to get them to acknowledge there is a problem first. I want to say in the Jeep forums someone said the adapter did not work. Can’t remember if it was there or not but someone said it didn’t.

I figured even if it doesn't work the USB-C to lighting device will come in handy since I have SO MANY cords with a lightening end to them!

i also found that the usb A wall adapter with the usb A to C cable does not charge the iphone 15

I won’t speak to the support guy again til Saturday. Hopefully he has news for me then. If not I’ll start returning it come Monday. Love the phone hate the drama.

Yep, I feel you. However I am leaning toward it is hardware. Some work done don’t. Seems like it’s the logical choice

Like it works eventually. Just not on the first try.

Same issue with my jeep, except if I flip the connector on the phone side with a type A cable it sometimes works as well, but then freezes up.

same issue, and wireless charging i'ts not working too, with another iPhone (11 and 13) works well...

Seems there are a lot of us with this issue. Youd think by now youd hear a peep out of Apple saying what the issue is etc. Im about to send mine back soon I think.

When i spoke to them on the phone i too was told apple engineers are aware of it.
