You are correct. It does Not work ! I contacted Apple support and they continue to say the engineers are working on it.

Tried it. Doesn’t work. Only sets a label for the timer as “Radar” but still uses Radial as the alarm sound. Got another idea?

BTW, if you don't look at the [phone, the face detection / nearness detection turns off, and it rings louder. But it's still that awful default sound.

I swear it feels like apple is TRYING to lose customers. How does a quite timer help??? The fact that you can’t change it is even worse.

Open Clock App

Bottom right, press Timers

Press "When timer ends" and select your required tone!

Easy🤣🤣

I have this same issue. The problem is that SIRI always goes back to the default tone. This appears to be a bug since the timer does not allow for changing the default setting.

This timer issue is ridiculous. Why can I not alter the default timer. Please sort this out, Apple
