I just upgraded to Mac Sonoma 14 and now Chrome won't work.
It opens to a blank page. No bookmarks bar, no content and acts like there are spaces where I can click but nothing is visible.

I was shocked after installing Sonoma 14 when my Chrome browser was no longer functioning. Glad I had another computer that did NOT have Sonoma so could learn others had the same problem. I did download Chrome again using my Safari browser and successfully installed it., All my bookmarks, etc were restored. Deleted the earlier version of Chrome. Bottom line: Apple messed up not having figured this out BEFORE they launched Sonoma.
God knows how many customers they screwed up, not all of which will easily find the solution. I may wait a week or 2 before I install any future mac updates.
Ok, I did this and replaced the other version and it did not change a thing for me. Downloads still go nowhere. When I find them in the finder, they are grayed out and not clickable.
Thanks for this. Sort this out, Apple! I would discourage anyone from "upgrading" to Sonoma.
where are your replys
I finally got the internet to work properly on my Mac. Previously the following apps weren’t connecting to the internet: Chrome, Spotify, Find My.
What oddly worked was to reboot to safe mode, then restart again. Not sure why this worked, but it’s easy to give it a try.
