iphone 12 facial recognition not working

the iPhone 12 was dropped and the facial recognition stopped working my screen still has a small crack.

Your phone has suffered physical damage, make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have it repaired.

iPhone face recognition not working It seems that face recognition failure on iPhones might be becoming a common problem. Have you had this happen? Could this be due to a defective part.? If it turns out to be the case should Apple charge for doing this repair? What do you think?

Iphone 12 Pro - Camera & Flashlight stopped working after IOS Update 17.5.0 Anyone else having this issue? Firmware update 17.5.0, left me with no cameras & no flashlight, reset settings, no change, completely erased phone, restarted without recovery from backup, still nothing, restored from old backup, still nothing. Initially my face time camera worked, and the main camera only worked via the filmic app, but flash and main camera would not work via the apple camera icon, it was just black on screen. I updated to 17.5.1 tonight hoping the issue had been resolved but still the same, even after a reboot. So now I am left with no facial recognition too! I have an appointment at service centre tomorrow 23-05-2024 - I will let you all know the outcome of that.
