iCloud Drive Cannot Start

Lately I get the following notification/error message: "iCloud Drive Cannot Start: Failed to update internal database to work with new version of iCloud Drive". I am running iCloud for Windows 10 on my PC. I believe my Windows program and iCloud are both up to date. Any suggestions for how to fix this?

Windows, Windows 10

Thanks for reaching out leo172,

If you're seeing an error trying to access iCloud, we can help.

Let's start by updating your Windows PC if there are any updates available, and restart your computer.

If you still don't see any improvement, you can connect with Apple directly to report the behavior using either Get Support or if you're in a region without direct support options, you can also Contact Apple for support and service.

Hope that helps.

Take care.
