When you plug the cable into the phone, it charges for 10 minutes and then it restarts itself. You cannot swipe and unlock the phone… To do that, you need to unplug the cable…
Then you can plug back the cable and unlock the phone all the times you need… At least, until the iPhone restarts again.

Thank your for your answer. I had no issues for three days but last night the iPhone restarted when I was asleep and then again this morning while scrolling through photos. So I called Apple Support this morning and they ran two different diagnostics. The iPhone failed the second one, so they assume a hardware defect. The apple support was very solution-oriented and the fastest way for a replacement was to buy a new phone at the local Apple Store and they send me an UPS label to return the old phone with an upcoming refund as soon as they get it.
Right now I'm transferring the data to the new iPhone. Let's hope that it will work fine.

I’m too facing this issue. Apps crashing and unexpected restarts automatically on iPhone 15 Pro. Happened thrice today.
And two days of restart a day is a major issue
