Hide my email has trashed my inbox. How do I completely remove this feature in settings? HELP!

My iMac is Version Ventura 13.5.2. I went to my iCloud email via the Chrome browser, and it stated there are some new iCloud features. Would I like to hide my email address so I am not tracked? Sure, I say, because I am an idiot. No pictures load, delete junkand trash do not work; I am getting more junk than usual.

I only want to remove this abomination from my machine and hope it didn't sync to my iPhone and iPad. How do I remove "hide my email" from ALL my devices? Thank you.

iMac, OS X 10.11

Hi maudiemoon,

We want to help with your email concerns as much as possible.

Hide My Email is a service where you get a generated email to provide to companies when they ask for your email. If you have not provided one of these emails, you are not using Hide My Email.

The issues you're facing are not related at all to Hide My Email. By not generating emails for Hide My Email you are already not using it.

You can read more about how this works here:

Use Hide My Email in Mail on iCloud.com

It may be normal for iCloud Mail to not have images load by default. You might see an option to load all images at the top of the message page but you can also download attachments with these steps:

Download email attachments from Mail on iCloud.com
